How to Join

Over the last three years the group has looked at a variety of religions and at aspects of religion. To name but a few,  we have ranged from "Who were the Cathars"? ; "Early Tribal Religion Through the Eyes of the 19th Century Anthropologists ; "The Quakers - History and Present Day" ; "the Church of England" "Judaism" ;" Pilgrimages" ;"Festivals" ; "Denominations,Sects and Cults" ; "Creation Stories".

We have had debates, informal discussions, invited speakers and presentations from members.Though we have a two hour session we do treat ourselves to a tea break in the middle. We describe ourselves as seekers rather than believers because we are in no way a faith group, simply U3A members who share an interest in both the historical aspects of religions and their present day manifestations.
