Coffee Group at ‘Carriages’

The ‘Drop in’ coffee group has settled in well at it’s new venue at

Carriages on the Castle Railway Station.

It has proved a wonderful place meet old friends and

New and put the world to rights. The service is very good and we even treated to mince pies last week.

Do come and try this lovely venue on Friday of every week at

10-30, where there is plenty of room to expand.

The Alternative Coffee Morning

At a recent group leaders’ meeting it was suggested that with our increasing numbers there might be room for a second coffee morning venue, this might be aimed at new members, or others that would find it more convenient.

So, this will be on Friday mornings, at an alternative venue and time to the existing coffee morning. It is in a quieter venue, on the other side of town and slightly later. This may well suit those who prefer to be within easier reach of the shops in town, or to come into town later. It is also at a venue that is already known to U3A members, as we have used it previously, and has parking outside if required.

Venue: Collectable Creations Café, London Road. (opposite the library),

Time: Friday morning from 11.00.
